Climate change – strategies for Bavarian trades – closing event

event

Trade, as the core and an important part of SMEs in Germany is already subject to all kinds of different influences: skilled worker shortages, globalisation and digitalisation are a few of these.

At the same time, global and increasing climate change is a cross-cutting issue of extraordinary urgency, which will demand resources, time and considerations in the coming years and decades, especially of small and medium enterprises. Working on behalf of the Bavarian state government, researchers of the LMU university in Munich and bifa Umweltinstitut determined which opportunities and risks climate change offers individual trade firms, which measures are being implemented by the firms and which strategies have to be pursued in order to counteract climate change. In the free closing event, the event organisers will be showing an overview of trade firms affected by climate change and provide insights into possible adaptation strategies so that they can continue to survive the competition in the future.

Date: Thursday, 31/01/2019, 17:00 – 19:00

Event location: Handwerkskammer für Schwaben, Siebentischstraße 52 – 58, 86161 Augsburg, Room: Akademie 1.06
